How to join us as a Graduate

To identify, select, and hire the most suitable Graduates for our programme, a comprehensive recruitment process will take place. Our Graduate recruitment process differs slightly from the general process. Below, we have outlined the different steps and frequently asked questions.

Once you have decided on which area(s) of interest to apply for, you need to prepare your CV, cover letter, and diploma including grades (or a printout if you are yet to graduate).

Importantly, you need to apply via our recruitment system online. Once you have applied, you will receive a confirmation email.

Please note: You must be in possession of a work and residence permit in the country you are applying for.

Upon the conclusion of the application deadline, all submissions will undergo a comprehensive review to discern the most suitable candidates for our Global Graduate Programme, while ensuring compatibility between the programme and the applicants. If your application is not among those selected, we will promptly communicate the outcome to you.

If you are one of the chosen candidates, we will request your participation in a brief video interview. This interview will involve your recorded responses to a set of predetermined questions and will, therefore, differ from a conventional interview with the presence of a recruiter or manager.

Following the submission of your video interview, a recruiter will assess it. Subsequently, you will be informed of the status of your application, including whether you will be invited to participate in a in-person interview, based on the recruiter's professional evaluation.

The interview will be conducted by a recruiter and take place via through Microsoft Teams or held at a Vestas facility. In preparation for the interview, you will be requested to undertake two online assessments via provided links: one pertaining to personality evaluation, and the other a psychometric aptitude assessment.

Our primary goal is to assess the full spectrum of your abilities and personality traits. We are not looking for specific answers or a particular set of skills. Instead, we aim to understand your individuality and determine how you can contribute to our dynamic Graduate Programme.

Upon completion of interviews with all candidates, you will promptly be notified and provided with feedback.

If you successfully advance beyond the final interview, you will be invited to participate in an assessment center. The assessment center is a physical session designed for the evaluation of candidates through case studies and collaborative exercises, involving other qualified graduate candidates.

Business managers, alongside representatives from Vestas People and Culture, will attend the assessment center to facilitate cases and evaluate the candidates in diverse settings.

This year, the assessment center will be split into two locations. Certain candidates will receive invitations to join in Copenhagen, Denmark, while others will be summoned to a venue within the Asia Pacific region (specific details of the destination to be disclosed at a later stage).

Following the culmination of the assessment center, you will be informed of whether you have been selected for participation in the Vestas Graduate Programme 2025.

Congratulations on becoming our next graduate! We are thrilled to have you on board.

Upon accepting your position, the onboarding process will be set in motion. Our objective is to provide you with an exceptional start to your new adventure and make you feel well taken care of.

You will receive an email with a link to the onboarding system, where you can find relevant material about Vestas. Additionally, your new manager will create a comprehensive Onboarding Plan to ensure that all necessary preparations are in place for your arrival.
