Meet Paulina Saja

A Production Supervisor for the V236-15 MW nacelle testing

From Curiosity to Nacelle Testing at Vestas

My name is Paulina, and I currently work as a Production Supervisor for V236‑15 MW nacelle testing.

I joined Vestas in April 2025, starting as a Supervisor in the HUB area. Shortly after, the Test Area was added to my scope. At a later stage, I transitioned fully to the Test Area while simultaneously supporting the launch of the NaSA area.

For the past two months, I have been focused exclusively on supervising nacelle testing, while in parallel also contributing to a global project.

Interestingly, my connection with turbines goes much further back. From a young age, I was naturally curious — visiting wind farms near Szczecin and trying to understand how they worked. I remember calculating the approximate tip speed of turbine blades from the back seat of the car while my parents were driving. What fascinated me most was not only the scale, but the fact that it all served a greater purpose and environmental mission. That is what truly attracted me — being part of something big, meaningful, and impactful.

Curiosity Over Experience

If I could give one piece of advice to someone considering Vestas without prior wind industry experience, it would be this: be curious, try, and don’t give up — especially when doubts start to weigh you down. They are just thoughts.

Openness and curiosity help you build experience faster than you might expect.

Growing Through Values, Change, and People

The most significant learning experience for me has been meeting people who truly live the Vestas values — not only talk about them, but genuinely are Vestas. The company’s values are strong, and there are great people behind them.

Over time, the organization itself helped structure my way of thinking. It strengthened my ability to see dependencies and approach situations with greater calm and clarity. At the same time, it naturally fueled a growing drive to absorb more knowledge and continuously improve in what I do.

At Vestas, change is constant — and it encourages us to keep moving forward, learning and developing. Those moments are where real growth happens.

What I value most in my job is the constant evolution that sharpens my perspective and keeps me growing alongside people who genuinely inspire me.
