V236-15.0 MW™ nacelle arrives at Østerild National Test Centre

Yesterday afternoon, the V236-15.0 MW™ nacelle for the prototype arrived at Østerild National Test Centre. The nacelle was shipped from Lindø, Port of Odense to Hanstholm where it was trucked to the test site.

More than 2500 engineers from all over the world have been a part of the nacelle development process. The nacelle was assembled at Vestas factory in Lindø which will also begin serial production in 2024. 

The installation of the V236-15.0 MW™ prototype at Østerild Test Centre is well underway with all tower sections already installed.
