On 10-12 March 2009, the International Scientific Congress on Climate Change (http://climatecongress.ku.dk/) will be held in Denmark.
The Congress will analyse, among other things, how much wind power can contribute to the abatement of climate change. The potentials identified by scientists in this conference will be reported to the governments negotiating new commitments under the UN Climate Convention (http://unfccc.int) in the 2009 Climate Summit in Denmark.
In connection to the Congress, Vestas Wind Systems A/S launches a Case Challenge for master’s degree students: The Vestas Win(d) Power Challenge. This Challenge is a chance for you to help the scientists provide Governments with information on the potentials of wind power globally. Additionally, the Challenge could serve to fuel your potential future wind power career. The prize will be presented to the winning team at the Congress.
