Vestas had total assets of EUR 7,450m at 30 September 2011, against EUR 8,578m the year before. At the end of September 2011, Vestas’ interest-bearing net position amounted to EUR 834m – a decrease of EUR 237m compared to the end of the second quarter of 2011. Vestas has credit lines amounting to more than EUR 2.2bn. During the third quarter, Vestas initiated serial production of the V112 turbine, which is the major reason for the increase in completed development projects and the corresponding decline in development projects in progress.
