Introducing our Houston office
Technology R&D is located in the energy sector of Houston, Texas. Our 100 employees are dedicated to seeking out and driving solutions for reducing the cost of energy through new wind turbine technologies. We are the hub of Vestas’ competences in aero-mechanical, transmission, drive train, electrical generator, and energy storage technologies.
A little history
Technology R&D opened its doors in 2008. We collaborate on research projects with major universities throughout North America, tapping into their specialized talents that will help us make Vestas’ vision a reality.
