Introducing Vestas Castings
Vestas Castings Xuzhou is located in the northeast part of Xuzhou. This foundry is a part of Vestas Castings Group and has four sister foundries in Europe, which are located in Germany, Norway, and Sweden.
The foundry in Xuzhou is the biggest of the five foundries, and it is built on many years of experience in casting components for wind turbines.
Vestas applies world-class standards for safety in everything we do from the construction of the foundry itself to producing the castings. Currently, this foundry employs 180 people.
A little history
The construction of Vestas Xuzhou was initiated in August 2008, and it spans an area of 22,000 square meters. In August 2009, all employees moved to the new building, which constitutes a very nice work environment. In November 2009, Vestas Castings Xuzhou commenced production in the new buildings.
