Located in Hohhot in Inner Mongolia, you will find one of the locations of Vestas China. This city is the region's administrative centre and is known for its historical sites and temples. It is one of the major tourist destinations of Inner Mongolia. The name of the city in Mongolian means "Blue City" and the color blue in Mongolian culture is associated with the sky, eternity and purity in Chinese.
A little history
This office had its opening ceremony on the 16th of April 2009. The major product here is the V60-850kW wind turbine. There are 500 employees working in this location and over 90% is local people, living in the city or nearby villages. The production has already been certified ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and has become the global export center of kW wind turbines, which is highly valued by Vestas management and customers.
