Tusitha Abeyasekera is an engineer who develops the wind turbine’s power conversion unit. The unit efficiently and safely converts wind power to electricity which then is exported to the grid.

”My main challenge is developing innovative and reliable solutions while being cost-conscious. My background is a PhD in renewable energy power conversion. Before joining Vestas, I worked as a research associate in a university R&D department developing wind power converter systems.”
