My role
Hi! My name is Anna Julia and I am QSE Graduate on Team 2007. I work in business excellence and what I enjoy the most about that is the everyday cooperation throughout Vestas’ business units, as my daily challenges primarily include running business improvement projects.
My career path
My Vestas’ adventure started at the QSE department at Vestas Northern Europe in Denmark. The graduate assignment included a couple of very interesting improvement projects regarding the management system in Vestas. When my first rotation was completed, I moved to Vestas Shanghai Procurement Office, part of Global Purchasing and Supply Chain at Vestas Nacelles. Here in China, I work for the Technical Support department within the Continuous Improvement function. My third and last rotation on the Graduate Programme will take place in Portland, Oregon. While in US, I will be working at the Business Improvement department, which is a part of Finance & Controlling at Vestas Americas.
Having rotations at three different continents, both in the production and sales business units I have the opportunity to experience the complexity of a global company from different angles. Therefore, effective intercultural communication is of utmost importance in my job.
My network
In order to remain No. 1 in Modern Energy, we have to be professional in every way and strive for development and continuous improvement. We need to be open and respect cultural differences and, most of all, be prepared for change. A global network is of course an indispensable tool in our everyday work, but it is also a very enjoyable part of working in Vestas.
