A world of opportunities
Representing a global company like Vestas gives you the opportunity to work alongside people from different countries and cultures around the world.
Over 20,000 dedicated employees thrive within our truly international business, one which is spearheading the worldwide move towards wind energy.
At Vestas, we act locally but think globally. We provide exciting opportunities for you to work across geographic boundaries and interact with other nationalities.
We’re constantly evolving our technology to make our turbines harvest wind more efficiently and meet local grid requirements. This means we’re opening up more and more sites globally for wind farms.
Our workplaces have a truly international feel. Every location has its own characteristics, but all are rooted in our universal ethos of respect and openness. Some offices are located in huge, fast-paced urban metropolises. Some have sea views, while others are set amid historic architecture.
Wherever they are, all are dedicated to making wind the energy of choice for future generations.

Investing in all our futures
At Vestas, we offer a world of opportunities for people with a global mindset and the desire to make a positive contribution to the environment.
In 2009 we opened the largest wind energy R&D facility in the world in Arhus, Denmark. We also have cutting-edge R&D facilities in Colorado, Houston, Beijing, Singapore, and India. And recently Vestas has moved into emerging markets such as South Africa and Brazil.
We put enormous value on our diverse and international workforce. In some countries, more than 15 per cent of our employees are non-native. Certain disciplines, including marketing, product development and sales, regularly attract a particularly eclectic mix of international colleagues.
Opportunities are open equally to everyone. It’s a democratic and merit-based approach to career progression which extends to every level of the company, and we have numerous chief officers and senior managers in senior VP roles who are international workers.
Supporting a global workforce
Colleagues from all over the world have an enormous contribution to make to our multi-ethnic workplaces. And we want our international colleagues to be happy as well as productive in their jobs. Settling in a new country isn’t always easy, which is why we have mobility schemes to ease the transition for our expats.
We provide the expats and their families with practical relocation services, as well as social opportunities such as international worker networks.
