What qualifications do I need to participate in Vestas Master Thesis Program?
You need to match the requirements specified in the thesis case you are applying for. It is especially important that you have the right academic qualifications and are about to complete your final project.
Can I only apply on the Internet?
Yes. The only way to apply for the programme is to send your application letter to: masterthesis@vestas.com and indicating the reference code of the thesis you would like to apply for in the subject line.
Do theses cases have an application deadline?
Yes. The application deadline is specified in the case details.
What should I attach with my application?
Please attach your motivational application for each thesis case that you are applying for together with a CV, and latest university papers demonstrating the grades from your Bachelor and Master level studies.
Please send an application by email for each thesis case you are applying for and state the reference code of the thesis in the subject field of the email.
If my application is rejected, can I apply for another during the same year?
Yes. You just have to match the requirements set for the cases then you are always welcome to apply.
Can I apply no matter what country I live in?
Yes. It is not required that you live in the country where a thesis case is offered. Knowledge sharing between you and your contact person can be done by email, phone meetings etc.
Do I get a personal Vestas contact person?
Yes. For each thesis case a Vestas contact person will be assigned. The contact person will assist you during the thesis collaboration.
Do I get to work at a Vestas location during the thesis program?
You are expected to work from home or from your educational institute. In some cases it will be necessary to spend time at a Vestas location to complete your case. If necessary, it will be stated in the thesis description.
What if I cannot find any topics in my field of study?
New thesis cases will be added to this website two times a year. There can be periods where Vestas will be unable to provide cases within certain areas.
What if I have my own thesis case?
All thesis cases are provided by Vestas. Some thesis cases will include only a topic or focus area and allow you to be more specific on problem statement and approach. See case descriptions for more details.
