John, Sales, Central Europe

For multiple regions within Russia, I created business case books for distribution to government officials and prospective investors. This involved detailed customer interaction to secure vital project information and Wind Park Economics analysis to demonstrate profitability and sensitivity to assumptions.

In my second rotation my focus was on the interrelation of Vestas and an external stakeholder group. My main achievements include the successful organization and facilitation of high profile political delegation visits, political intelligence responsibility for Benelux and Germany, internal business process improvements, as well as the kick off of an internal performance management process.

My focus was on the Global Commercial Planning Process and developing quarterly reports on our competitors. During my time here, I had the unique experience to represent Vestas at the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi.

Anna, Service, Central Europe

The goal of my project was to increase the profitability of our service contracts. Tasks were for example the setting of service sales targets for Central European regions, performance tracking & definition of improvement strategies/tactics; support of service sales through tools, communication material, training & new service products etc. I enjoyed my role so much that I will stay on as a permanent employee after the programme.

In my start-up rotation, I already worked on a wide range of assignments. These include working as a project driver for bidding and contracting in energy projects; providing bidding price trend analysis to the management team; delivering Sales Workshops as a trainer and working as the master of ceremony of Houhai contract signing ceremony in Shanghai EXPO.

I lead a 150MW public auction in Peru: all successful bidders have selected Vestas as preferred supplier. Lead a 150MW private tender in Mexico: Vestas selected as preferred supplier. Turn-key project leader for a 15MW in Guatemala, applying the methodology set-up in the first rotation.

Carlo, Projects, India

I contributed to the project management for the construction of the Theni wind park (60 turbines), and familiarized with the processes, methods, tools and resources needed for the realization of a turn-key project. I was then assigned an Engineering Procurement andPC contract in Kongalnagaram (9 turbines); I was responsible for planning, coordination and control of activities relevant to the construction of access roads, foundations, electrical lines, erection and commissioning of wind turbines and unit substations.

Nelly, Sales (Key Account Management), France

I am currently working on setting up the Key Account (KA) data structure for one new and one potential Global KA. I am directly involved in the definition of the KAM objectives and have a leading role in the negotiation of terms for partnership agreements. In addition to the KAM related activities, I am acting as a Sales manager and Sales engineer for different smaller accounts.
