Lone, SCADA Engineer

Lone Tegner, SCADA engineer:

"Life on this planet is unique and vulnerable. We must protect it and avoid choosing solutions just because they are financially profitable – they must also do something good for the environment.”

For Lone, it is important to be able to combine engineering, networks and know-how from previous jobs because she is helping to develop solutions and results that combine man-made technology and natural forces.

From oil to wind power

”I have a degree in engineering and work in the sales support division for most of Asia, i.e. India, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines and Australia. I used to work in the oil industry, and I’ve also sold telephone and network equipment.”

An exciting industry with prospects

”The wind power industry is horribly exciting – and very promising to be part of. It means, for example, that I have a critical approach to this world and everything that lives in it. I think about the future of my children and grandchildren. Life on this planet is unique and vulnerable. We must protect it and avoid choosing solutions just because they are financially profitable – they must also do something good for the environment."

No two days the same!
