Anna Julia Andruszkiewicz, Vestas Graduate:
“As a part of Vestas’ Graduate Programme, I have the opportunity to work throughout the organisation in a variety of business units around the world.”
The two-year rotational programme includes working for eight months in three different locations, e.g. the USA, China, India, Singapore, Australia, Spain, Italy, Poland, Germany, England and Denmark. In each of the three modules, Anna Julia will participate in challenging projects with colleagues from all over the world and she is also part of a global network of skilled and talented people.
Effective inter-cultural communication
”What I enjoy the most when working within business excellence is the everyday cooperation throughout Vestas’ business units, as my daily challenges primarily include running business improvement projects. I work with people and motivate them so that everyone can experience a boost and on-going improvement – both in the way we think and work. In an organisation growing as fast as Vestas, effective intercultural communication is of utmost importance.”
Both business and pleasure
”Vestas offers an excellent opportunity to combine my interests – I love travelling and meeting new people – with a challenging job. As a part of Vestas’ Graduate Programme, I have the opportunity to work in different business units around the world. This means I experience the complexity of a global company from different angles. Additionally, I participate in global training courses that help me develop a good network with other people in the programme.”
Both environmentally and career-friendly
”Vestas not only offers interesting career opportunities but also a good work environment with an incredible culture. You meet many talented and competent people who are happy to share their experience with you. But what I like best about Vestas is that you don’t get bored. You are never stuck in one place and can expect continuous personal and professional development.”
Strong values and a well-functioning global network
”If we want to remain No. 1 in Modern Energy, we have to be professional in every way and strive for development and continual improvement. We need to be open and to follow new inspiration to run the company, respect cultural differences and, most of all, be prepared for change. If we can live up to this, I’m sure that our success will continue. A global network is of course an indispensable tool in our everyday work.”
Are you ready for global changes?
”If you’re considering applying for a job at Vestas and becoming a part of Vestas’ Graduate Programme, then flexibility, an openness to global challenges and mobility are essential. That's the best advice I can give you.”
