My role:
Hi there! My name is Nada and I have just completed the Vestas Graduate Programme. I have been a Business and IT Graduate on Team 2006 and I have worked from Ringkøbing (Denmark), Tianjin (China) and Barcelona (Spain) and on top of this got the opportunity to travel the world running global, business oriented IT projects.
My career path:
I have a Master’s degree in Business & IT and after hearing about the Graduate Programme, I right away thought it had to be too good to be true. Imagine travelling around the world and getting interesting assignments. Now, two years later I’m just as excited as I was when I started. If I were to decide, I would still be rotating.
My future:
The Graduate Programme has given me a great advantage – and now I have acquired a permanent job as a team leader. I have been able to apply all the things I have learned in the programme as well as utilize my global network – it is very useful in my new job! For sure, I can recommend the Graduate Programme - you won’t get a better start.
My new job is unbelievable interesting for me. I enjoy being in the center for all the activities and I will have opportunities to manage personnel too. In addition, I’ll get to be in several coordination meetings with the IT managers from the other PBU’s and Group IT – so I’ll really get to influence decisions and new initiatives. This fits in perfectly with my ambition to be on the management track at Vestas.
My network:
Through the Graduate Programme I’ve built a giant network that has opened doors across the organization. If you need information or a favour the network is very useful – moreover there are enormous knowledge sharing potential. And by sharing the knowledge across the world we ensure that Vestas remains “No. 1 in Modern Energy”.
My Vestas:
Vestas is an excellent place to work. We are a global company that is always on the move. You get involved in projects right from the start. There are always new things in the pipeline, so I never get bored. The atmosphere is dynamic, people are open – and there is room for everyone. I can highly recommend getting closer to modern energy and getting involved in projects where you can help make a difference!
My life:
I guess I’m a person with many interests. I enjoy kick-boxing and training is so much fun. Since I was 12, I’ve also taken dance lessons – and became a dance teacher when I was 16 and up until recently. Now I have moved into the fitness world where I teach as an instructor which I enjoy in my spare time.
