Professors, who will be sponsored by Vestas, are expected to conduct independent, high-quality university research within the field of wind power. At Vestas Innovation network looks for long term partnership with leading universities of the world . Innovation network look to work and develop Preferred and Strategic partners and look forward for Professors who can conduct Research work with Vestas related to wind energy. We at Vestas encourages professors from preferred and Strategic university partners to apply under this programme. This requirement is set by Vestas to ensure the necessary gradual build up of vigorous wind power research activity at universities worldwide.
Professors work primarily at their home universities, but visit Vestas Technology R&D units in Denmark (headquarters), the UK (primarily blades), Singapore, India, Germany and USA.
Developing your collaboration with Vestas Technology R&D involves being the project leader for Vestas projects at your university, initiating new Vestas university projects and supervising Vestas PhD and master's degree students.
Basic conditions
- You must be a well-established, internationally oriented researcher qualified to become a Professor.
- Professors sponsored by Vestas must go through their university’s normal evaluation process for Professors.
