My role
My responsibility as an IT supporter in Vestas’ Beijing office is to handle a variety of both large and small technical challenges on a daily basis.
My career path
Since I joined Vestas, I have become very focused on a career in IT management. I’ve already specialized in business management and have five years of experience with IT support. At Vestas, I have taken both internal and external courses in IT and English, so I feel that I’ve gradually become equipped to attain the goals I’ve set for myself.
My network
Because people from different countries do not think and work alike, the corporate culture and network at Vestas are both very important. Cross collaboration and the feeling of being part of a global and a local team widen people’s horizons and behavior.
My Vestas
At Vestas you have the freedom to show your abilities. I really do my best to get the most out of myself and my surroundings. If I can solve a technical problem after having worked on it for several hours, then I really feel ecstatic.
Vestas does not only provide job opportunities for people but also for nature. When you live and work in Beijing like I do, it’s not hard to see the prospects in modern energy. For example, the local authorities have launched ”Blue sky days” to ensure that the capital lives up to international air quality standards.
My life
I like travelling on my own and my dream is that I can visit all places of historic interest and scenic beauty.
