Vestas Career Paths

At Vestas, we attach great importance to developing your competencies and your talents. You can begin your career at any level. We offer three equivalent career paths:

  • Knowledge & Innovation Leadership
  • Project Leadership

You can shape your career exactly as you want to, for example, by beginning in a business unit in one country and then moving to another unit somewhere completely different in the world. We hire full-time and part-time employees as well as temporary staff, e.g. for specific projects. Vice president training

In order to accelerate performance and strengthen leadership skills, Vestas has asked IMD to develop a custom-made programme for its approx. 200 vice presidents. The participants learn about the current issues they face – like dealing effectively with supply chain issues and ever-changing market segmentation, as well as developing themselves as leaders. To date, the multi-module programme has run four times, and the investment has clearly paid off. The results have been individual learning and improvement projects within the company.
