At the end of March 2012, Vestas had 181,132 registered shareholders, including custodian banks. The registered shareholders held 92.2 per cent of the company’s share capital. At the end of March, 175,838 Danish shareholders owned about 54 per cent of Vestas, which has a free float of 100 per cent.
