Vestas has an open and transparent dialogue with the company’s shareholders and stakeholders. Vestas is regularly holding public and individual investor meetings; however, Vestas is “closed” for a period of four (4) weeks prior to the announcement of a financial report.
Vestas’ continuous dialogue with the company’s shareholders and potential shareholders is further described in Vestas’ Investor relations and communications policy and in the section ”I. The role of the shareholders and their interaction with the management of the company”.
Publication of information
As a public limited company listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange Copenhagen, Vestas is obliged to ensure that everyone has equal access to significant information about the company, i.e. information that can be considered to be of importance to the pricing of the Vestas share.
When publishing information which may have an affect on the share price, Vestas is obliged to secure that the information is made available to the public in all the EU and the EEC quickly, and wherever possible, simultaneously.
To secure that Vestas fulfils the above mentioned obligation, Vestas has entered into an agreement with OMX’s The Nordic Exchange news distribution service regarding distribution of company announcements and press releases, published by Vestas Wind Systems A/S. Such announcements are publicized both in Danish and English.
Financial reports
Vestas publishes accounts four (4) times a year: one annual report and three quarterly reports. The publication dates for upcoming reports are listed in the financial calendar.
In order to give all shareholders the opportunity to follow Vestas’ information meetings and telephone conferences, these events are webcasted. This gives many more of the company’s current and potential investors the chance to follow – or subsequently study – Vestas’ conferences and information meetings.
Vestas’ annual report is presented in accordance with "International Financial Reporting Standards" (IFRS), as adopted by the EU, as well as with additional Danish disclosure requirements for annual reports of listed companies.
