As part of Vestas’ belief in the need for Energy Transparency, Vestas has commissioned the Global Consumer Wind Study (GCWS), a groundbreaking study that maps public perceptions of climate change, climate friendly brands, and how these affect consumers’ purchasing decisions.
In 2012, more than 24,000 consumers in 20 countries were asked about their demand for products made with renewable energy, as well as how energy decisions by some of the world’s largest companies affect consumer choices.
The 2012 study, commissioned by Vestas and conducted by TNS, provides insights that enable corporations to understand consumer perceptions about climate change, renewable energy and how these relate to global brands.
The GCWS has been conducted by TNS each year since 2009
