Starting in 2007, Vestas will put on four LEGO micro-shows that present Vestas turbines in different scenarios. Headlined “Wind is free”, Vestas turbines will be shown in offshore, city, desert and factory surroundings. The purpose of the airport show is to promote understanding of wind energy in a fun and educational way. In addition to the micro-shows, there will be a LEGO play table and Vestas videos, where children can play and learn about wind energy.
The air show was launched at Los Angeles International Airport on 1 June 2007 and has now moved on to other selected U.S. airports. From 1 September the European version of the airport show was launched at Copenhagen Airport. In the autumn people will also be able to see the airport show at several other locations in Europe and Asia.
