Impressions from the International First LEGO League tournaments in Japan, April 2008
The Vestas logo can be seen at regional, national and international "First LEGO League" tournaments where children compete in both theoretical and practical tasks related to energy.
A Vestas mentor is affiliated with a team in each town where Vestas is represented and where First LEGO League tournaments are held. The mentor acts as a contact between the children and the industry. More than 100,000 children from 45 different countries participate globally in 2008 - combining fun and learning with solving real-world problems.
